Up and down by bike in just over an hour.AndyS14/07/2023
Parked just after the final bend on the road to Bogburn Farm. Up the track ahead, then on to the gate, stile and through open area of trees to the track. Followed Carole's grid references, particularly useful for the small stile and forest track. Pleasant walk.LizH11/02/2023
Parked with permission at Bogburn Farm to ESE. Kind farmer advised of gate at NO 7068 8153 to avoid electric fence. Then over pasture to make-shift stile into forest at NO 7039 8167. Good track from NO 7032 8175carole engel07/08/2021

Parked on the Bogburn road and walked in from here. The path across to the forest no longer exists after the gate. It is also necessary to cross the fence into the forest at a slight bend in it. It is then necessary to cross a cleared area to reach the summit track. On top I investigated a route to Hill of Gothie but the mapped ride through the forest to its foot was blocked by dead (diseased) larch trees.JohnW14/04/2019

From North Drumtochty car park and following a twisty track through the forest.Windy Corner29/07/2018
From Cairn o'Mount. A rough way. There were lots of bilberries to eat. I climbed three electrified deer-fences which had the top four strands electrified. Once was because a gate was wired shut, and proved too awkward for me to open. I then went NW to Hill of Gothie over yet more rough ground, so the nice road coming from the NE was of no use to me.Alan Moore24/07/2018
Solo. From the car park in Strath Finella along broad forest tracks through Drumtochty Forest, which take you to within a few metres of the trig point and the actual highest point, a peat hag a few meters from the trig point. Returned same way. A beautiful sunny morning with excellent views from the summit.pwbellarby02/08/2017
