Forest track from the SW.Andrew Simmons23/03/2024
I attempted to follow RHW's route but felling and windblown trees obstructed progress. I had an easier descent N from the summit to NG 87652 31840 then NW to meet the forest road at NG 87585 31893 which would be a better (though steep) ascent route.Jim.Fothergill20/05/2019

From SW, follow forest track to its hp (log pile) then up to E, keeping a bit L of beeline, passing L of dense windthrow then steeply up thru open forest. Tussocky hp at N edge of small clearing.RHW22/07/2017
Via forest track from from SE. Some windfalls hindered progress in forest.jimbloomer05/05/2015
