Parked at Nostie then narrow path through the trees to the E bank of Nostie Bay. Once SW of summit it's a relatively easy heather/bracken walk to the top, occasionally aided by animal tracks.summitter27/05/2023
From Nostie follow east bank of river then up steep shrub, birch snd heather. Small cruise liner super yacht moored in bay.cjo27/05/2023

Parking at the layby in Nostie, the suggested route (as confirmed by a very nice farmer in the house at the end of the lane in Nostie, and as walked by others below) starts at two blue wheelie bins, goes downhill to the water's edge, becomes a grassy path next to the water firstly SSE and then SW. Then up E when you fancy it. No fences, stiles, gates, cattle etc.Matt03/06/2022

Parked in a layby at Nostie(NG85651 27061), along riverside and up from the west. Awful terrain, long grass, long heather and bracken. A winter ascent would have been better! Great views though.LizH19/09/2021

From Nostie, along the river then WSW ridge, uneven ground covered by long grass, heather and locally bracken too. Low elevation summits with relatively high prominence are nice viewpoints and quick to climb. It only needs one track or path to make them comfortable to climb.Topographer5725/06/2019
From Nostie on the riverside embankment then boggy ground SW then W to the summit through heather. Returned further away from the boggy area. 45 mins.Jim.Fothergill20/05/2019

Shore track direct from small parking area by bridge. Beyond thick bracken going isn't too bad up from WSW.Tony S29/07/2017
From E, parking near end of road, flowery rushy meadow, gate onto ridge, 0.5km of knee deep tussock and heater to summit, 2 heathery tops, about equal, didn't bring hand levelRHW22/07/2017
