Took the upper forest track until almost due north of summit then up steep slopes at boundary of older planting and recently felled/replanted forest. Grass and moss at first then heathery gully but never too bad. Short walk east to summit, which was the only place I felt the winds of storm Babet.AndyS19/10/2023
The fine weather continues and there were some outstanding views down Loch Broom from up here this morning.Alex C29/11/2022

By Colin's route up the gully, plenty of sturdy trees to pull up on too. Above the gully where you climb steep heather on the right isn't so pleasant. Didn't descend same way, decided to try going down just south of the crag through the trees and this was easier but still steep.Dave McG27/09/2020

up second scree slope on right from Inverlael parking, then fight up through step vegetation and loose rock onto narrow ridge which widens. Met Colin Crawford.Thearlaichdubh10/06/2016
Surprisingly accessible and perversely enjoyable, directly up the steep crag visible from Inverlael. The key is the gully starting from the top of the scree slope, at NH18802 84701, not all that obvious until you get there. Very steep but sufficient vegetation to grasp in case of a slip. Return is a bit intimidating but coming down on your backside feels fairly secure. Thanks for the company CharlieColin Crawford10/06/2016
