Parking in quarry NG383410 (soft ground, humps). No in-situ crossing feature for immediate deer fence. Then clockwise around perimeter of BWF to grassy forepeak. Bog to summit of Braon a Mheallain | Isbjorn | 26/02/2024 |
From B885 SE of Loch Connon. 7 Summit round ... Am Maol East Top, Am Maol, Braon a' Mheallain, Ros a' Mheallain, Ben Scudaig, Beinn na Cloiche, Beinn a' Mhadaidh. Largely easy grassy/heather terrain, with a few boggy areas for a bit of drama. | summitter | 22/05/2023 |
Parked in layby on the Struan road and cut across up the moor. Nice viewpoint across Loch Duagrich | Matt2901 | 21/02/2021 |
Parked at an old quarry at NG3832 4102. Over the burn and the deer fence, then up on rough grass between drainage ditches for new planting, and young trees. Good views from the summit despite generally wet weather. | LizH | 26/10/2020 |
With Luna after work on Friday, my 300tj hill | BigNick | 20/07/2018 |
Skye TuMP no. 217 clockwise circuit over four | vegibagger | 08/07/2017 |
As I checking my gps for the whereabouts of this one Dugswell2 turned up like a bad penny in the same layby. And then to make matters worse he joined me on the stumble through grass and occasional wet ground to the reasonable looking summit with surprisingly good all round view of Skye. | Martin R | 13/09/2013 |
I noticed Martin Richardson's van flashing in a lay-bye so stopped to check he was OK. He was just confused so he asked me to help him bag this HuMP however he parked nearer a TuMP which we did first, great views from both hills. | Dugswell2 | 13/09/2013 |
