In 1982 I was on Cuidhe Crom with my dad. He went down to Little Pap, because it was in his old Munro's Tables. But I rested for a while instead, because Little Pap was not in my more up-to-date version. A bit of a false economy...it came back into the tables and so I went there in the end.Pete R06/04/2017

From Loch Muick, high cloud, windy, good views.iangalbraith03/10/2003
RBS HWC Sunday Outing; the path from Loch Muick is excellent, almost a pavement; a straightforward climb to my surprise as Lochnagar had been a dark bogey mountain in my mind; the climb from the col between Meikle Pap and the main ridge was slightly tricky - loose gravelly underfoot.langskill28/07/2002

Cairngorm Club bus meet. Solo. I left Spittal of Glen Muick starting on the route up the track (which eventually leads to Meikle Pap – Cuidhe Crom col), but struck off to make a route direct to Little Pap. I had gone south a little on a path which skirts Little Pap to the east, so the route was not absolutely direct. I continued to reach Cuidhe Crom. I joined the Ladder route, but made a more direct route (nearer the corrie edge) to reach Carn Cac Mor and then Cac Carn Beag.pwbellarby11/01/1998
