Walk in to do Tolmount and Tom Buidhe with John via Glen Doll along the Jock's Road - a really stunning walk and (IMO) far more interesting than the route starting from the A93 side. A cold 7am start, albeit with blue skies with some light cloud, but clouds got darker and lower as we progressed. We just got back to the Glen Doll car park as it started with the rain/hail - just under 5h 30m.mproudfoot01/05/2021

With friend. From Spittal of Glenmuick on bikes to Glas-allt-Shiel. Objective: all Munro tops of Broad Cairn and Cairn Bannoch. No stalking today. After Broad Cairn and Craig of Gowal continued to Crow Craigies. The 1997 and earlier editions of Munro’s Tables have Crow Craigies as a top of Tolmount. However, examination of the contours indicates that it really is a top of Cairn Bannoch and that is how it is now regarded. Continued to Fafernie, Cairn Bannoch, Cairn of Gowal, Creag an Dubh-loch.pwbellarby06/09/2013
