Bitterly cold W gale today, showers early then some good views pm. Dep Glen Muick car park 1:30pm, river in spate so had to wade, very good track and path to summit though. Less than an hour back to car park, jogging.NorfolkPT2113/03/2024

With J on a hot & sunny week based in Tomintoul. Standard Lochnagar path from Spittal of Glenmuick (currently £5 cash/card) as far as the large cairn at the col where a clear path leads quickly to the summit. Pipits everywhere at the top. Returned to the col to continue to Lochnagar.NotReallyABagger04/09/2023

Conachcraig, Lochnager and the 4 other White Mounth Munros from Bridge of Muick, 20 miles.Gary Heath30/05/2023
With John from Crathie. Parked at a nearly empty car park at Crathie (£5 / day) at 7:30am, headed straight over the bridge and followed the road to the Distillery, cutting off by a large estate house with a gate marked Cairn Walks. Followed the track south to a split over to Lochnagar and Gelder Shiel. Followed a slightly bogger path for a while before rejoining the main track. At a high point, (across from a track up to Meikle Pap), a path took us up to the summit area of Conachcraig. Hopped up onto all the tors (just in case), before heading over to the other top. Descended down heathery grass and rejoined the main track back out. Took a wee detour up to Prince Albert's cairn. Car park was absolutely full on our return. Nice day with sun & some light cloud.
