Logged Descriptions  (logged by 39 users)ByDate of Ascent
First hill of trip on route from Tarbert ferry terminal to house (Marybank House) we have rented for the week in Stornoway. Followed fp from outside radio building as far as I could hoping to find a path off towards summit to the right. At 212m spot height decided to cut my losses and start ascent through boggy grass interspersed with patches of dry spagnum, turning to patchy heather as I gained elevation until it finally turned to bedrock near the summit marked by a distinctive cairn.Returned by a more direct route back to van over similar terrain.mntainman09/09/2022
