Parking at end of road (NO107162). Tk SSW improves to a nice green lane, ending at about NO098154, where stile over gate, but no help over adjacent BWF. Summit is defended by electrified BWF, but follow it W and down a few feet, where a gate through will be found | Isbjorn | 25/09/2023 |

Parked on the wide verge 200 yards N of the lane to Culteuchar Farm and followed the signposted route to the col between fort and hill, following an electrified bwf SW for awhile before reaching the gate to the summit. Saw two young roe deer at quite close quarters. | Nick Down1 | 10/10/2022 |
Up the track from Glenearn to Glenearnhill. There is a barbed-wire + electric fence to the east but it's OK, there's a gate to the SE of the trig. | Pete R | 26/02/2022 |

From the road to the south, but be aware that parking here may attract unwelcome local attention. Forest road and pleasant ride made short work of the conifer block and I was able to find a quadbike track to the top. Parked bike at fence just south of the top. Very fine views in bright sunshine. | fasgadh | 15/03/2020 |
