Waterhead (old GR) and Waterhead fro car park at SW end of Loch Bradan. Followed forest drive for short distance then path running NE by loch shore. Missed the start of path running E so headed directly E to N end of Loch Brecbowie, climbing to old top then Waterhead summit. Return via S of Loch Brecbowie, this time finding the path leading from the boat house. Rough terrain. | RobertP | 08/12/2018 |
4th hill of 12 today on a route from Loch Doon near Castle, visiting Wee Hill of Craigmulloch, Craiglee and Waterhead moving across rough terrain. I tried moving across the rocky outcrops wherever possible. Onwards to Craigbrock but about 20 muns later i was back here looking for my car keys! | Dazingdale | 08/05/2017 |
