Gwylwyr then Carreglefain and Carreglefain S Top from P @ SH 3205 4069. A rewarding short scramble at the top.summitsup23/10/2023

From small car park at end of minor road to SW. Good network of well-marked paths, but none leading to the summit. From Gwylwyr, on a clockwise round of the three hills.Minto15/07/2023

Took a different rout up as I couldn't see the path, quite overgrown with ferns. I went along the footpath that goes around it then picked a spot, parted the ferns and scrambled up the rocks which was more interesting than a footpath.Skarletk31/07/2021
Parked on edge of turning circle at end of road to SW at SH 3206 4070 - NE up track to gate at SH 3225 4094 - Through gate, left for about 10m & then right up path to col - Shortly before high point, took faint path which heads E. up over a mixture of bracken, gorse & heather to the summit outcrop. From Carreglefain South Top. Used the gate at SH 32302 40912. Pleasant rocks on the left (southwest) side led to the top.Alan Moore03/05/2019

Nice rocky profile. Direct route from the S Top is fraught with the 3 b's - bracken, bramble and bloody gorse. Scrambled up the NE end of the face.jonglew09/09/2017
With K. Best approach is probably parking at 321 407. We initially parked at corner at 328 410 where farmer was initially reluctant to let us use large layby but warmed after the correct pronounciation of a few local placenames. However, the footpath from here heading NW does not exist on the ground. Eventually met local resident who provided very kind assistance and clearly loved this hill.Ashley27/07/2017
From campsite at Morfa Nefyn, into Nefyn then paths up to Mynydd Nefyn woods. Excellent track on SW approach, gates and paths recently improved for easy access to the two Tumps and Hump top. Big car parking space at end of the lane near the col to SW. Circuit back using coastal path to Maritime Museum in Nefyn with fine tea shop. Good walk for the pupnordicstar15/06/2017

Parked 328410 along path over the walls, once reached drive straight up. From summit descended to west then visited both nearby tumps. Good paths and various gates in the walls to assist access.Rob5028/04/2017

We parked at the good parking at 328410 but gave up with the bracken covered path- untrodden for months?- not good in September. We went round to the road end to the house at 326411 below Carreglefain and found informal tracks through the scrub to an excellent rock summit.pwheeler17/09/2016

Parked as arranc. This one might be better in winter as, especially if you combine with other tumps, there is quite a bit of off path through bracken, gorse and heather. The cairn, as you can see on the photo, is not quite the summit.clivevilla28/10/2015
