Parked to SW: squeezed into the end of a passing place. E along road, then up track. Turned left just after old quarry to climb up short grass to summit.PGCE23/07/2021
Parking area at side of narrow lane about NW of junction at SO 0036 8405 - As others, E. along road for about 100m, up track for about 75m & then up over short sheep grazed pasture to the summit which lies on fence line by a clamped metal post. (S)gerrybowes06/05/2021
Very pleasant 3 Tump circular walk combining this with Moelfre.Alex C26/07/2019
I went steeply straight up from the gate on the yellow road at SO 00324 84084. This was dreadful, I nearly got stuck in the brambles and gorse. It took 20 minutes to go 130m with 40m height gain to get to the sheep pasture. Once reached, the top gave fine views in the evening light.Alan Moore10/10/2018
Hp on the fence line with metal post ( formerly aerial?). Good views. Easy terrain- sheep pasture- after Foel. Lots of ripe blackberries. from South.Denise 30/08/2018
From the S. Initially on track then over sheep pasture to summit. High point on fence line at old aerial pole.RichardM30/08/2018
Did this as a fig of 8 walk including Moelfre from Caerau road end (SO 003840)- went through gate 100m to E up good track, then top, the down a bit more directly down the S ridge. Nice view down the broad Severn valley ,interesting as we'd been near the headwaters on Llechwedd y Glyn yesterday.pwheeler01/05/2017

10/11 Tenth of eleven on sunny but cold day (Llechwedd Llwyd/Bryn Du/Bryn Mawr/Old Chappel Hill/Pant-Poeth Hill/Peginn Mawr/Graig Iar/Molefre/Pen-y-Ffynnon/Coed y Gaer/Bryn Gwyn)Fergalh05/11/2016
Going through the gate 100m east is the key, as Des says, is the key to this one.clivevilla08/02/2015
As destaylor.Chris Peart11/07/2014
Parked at lane junction at SO 00389 84033 - plenty of parking. Took gated lane round west flank of hill, then very steeply up to barbed wire fence. Once over this, up through undergrowth, over another barbed fence south and so to summit. Returned down south side of hill to RoW and lane - much easier, quicker and the recommended route. With MP on a stormy day with sodden fields.Man of Kernow109/02/2014
As Des second HuMP today with Phil Cooper.Dugswell216/11/2012
Very tight parking on verge. Along the lane and steeply up over thistle grass with sheep to wire fence at the top. No cairn.arranc26/07/2012

That grassy bank was steep and slippy after all the rain.Martin R26/08/2011
Parked 004 840 easy. Gain the bank through a gate 100m to E then up grassy bank.destaylor13/04/2011
