Fiacaill na Leth - choin > Ben Macdui North Top > Ben Macdui > Stob Coire an t-Sneachda > Fiacaill a' Choire Chais > Cairn Gorm > Ptarmigan Station > car park.Beeliner08/09/2023

Circular overnight route from Coire na Ciste car park. Sunny and warm conditions with excellent visibility. Followed path heading NE contouring round hillside, eventually climbing to join ridge leaving a short distance to climb and reach Creag nan Gall. Continued to Stac na h-Iolaire and camp near pt737. Inversion in the morning, and continued (missing Sron a' Cha-no) to Cnap Coire na Spreidhe and summit of Cairn Gorm. Along northern corries to Fiacaill a' Choire Chais, Stob Coire an t-Sneachda, Cairn Lochan. Descended to Fiacaill na Leth-choin (barely a top) and the impressively located Creag an Leth-choin [Lurcher's Crag]. Over Creag an Leth-choin North Top and descended to SW end of Chalamain Gap, taking a good path to Creag a' Chalamain. Descended via Airgiod-meall to return to start.RobertP31/05/2023

If 5 is a crowd on a summit then full tour coach tour group was just too much so I took my snaps from mid way between the weather station and the cairn. The path back to the top of the railway is horrible, very hard on the feet after a longish day.Trantham Clan25/05/2023

From the Ski center car park at 10.30am ... 3.5 hours there and back via Windy Ridge ... Windy Ridge was as expected quite windy! ... Clear and dry to start with turning to rain and mist halfway up ... No real views from the summit ... The poor visibility and rain discouraged our intended walk from Cairn Gorm to Ben Macdui, and we called that off for the day and returned to the Ski centre.R & K03/08/2022
