From road end to east, near trig. Up Y Pigwn first. Followed track to top and Trig. Good views.PeterD06/03/2024
Parked on the S side of the Dam, walked across the Dam and round to the track at approx SN825 294. Pleasant path through the wood, rather than the vehicle track expected, then track and ATV track all the way to the summit.LizH31/05/2022
Easy parking just beyond end of minor road at 845300 & up Y Pigwyn. From Y Pigwyn, SW down ATV track to track/Roman Road - W. along track for about 100m to waymarker post & then SW along ATV tracks to the summit trig point. (S)gerrybowes23/07/2019
Circuit of Y Pigwyn, Mynydd Myddfai, Twyn Rhyblid and Ally Yr Hafod Fawr. Parked on verge before getting to Hafod farm (see the white van on Google Street view!).BobHancock21/06/2019
Parked by the trig then used the Roman Road to get to the Roman Camps and Y Pigwyn. Then headed SW on a track to Mynydd Myddfai.Dugswell231/12/2017
Very enjoyable walk in a lonely landscape, even though we arrived back at the car rather soggy and cold.Alex C31/12/2017
From trig point at SN846300 following Roman road and track. Ypigwyn bagged enroute.Ramblingpaul29/08/2017
From Hafod Fawr. Rushed what should have been an even more pleasant walk as there are lots of tracks across the top and I was worried about getting confused in the fading light before arriving back at the car.clivevilla29/11/2016
With K and RM. From Hafod Fawr where friendly farmer understood but did not speak much English.Ashley30/05/2016
from Y Pigwyn on to sub four no views todayunderhill06/12/2015
3/4 Short but sharp walk up from farm north of hill. wonderful views in all directionsFergalh06/09/2015
Parked near the white post mentioned by Des but very overgrown verges made it a chancy thing. Plenty of parking in the farm environs but we weren't cheeky enough to risk it. Otherwise, an easy strollColin Crawford26/06/2015
Up from Usk reservoir and over moor to toparranc07/05/2014
A pleasant walk up from the dam across the Usk reservoir. We did a CCW circular route up through the forest and out onto the open hillside for the summit and trig, dropping south to Bylchau Blaenclydach before returning to start point via the minor road and forest paths.jonglew20/07/2013
From the car park by the dam wall, across the dam, through the woods and up onto the ridge. Mynydd Myddfai trig and 429m spot. Descent SE to the road and back through the woods to the car park. Overcast with showers. With a group of young explorer scouts.richard6927/05/2013
