Easy access via car park. Beautiful weather on a visit to Whitby and Scarborough for a few days, this day being the only time it rained and it chucked it down. After waiting 10 minutes I decided to get it down so onto path and then Trig pillar and then exploring the slight rise to the two high points either side of the pillar. My only Hill climbed on this particular visit to this area!Dazingdale07/06/2021
From the car park a few mins walk away. Good views and a pleasant spot. With Pete.pwheeler06/06/2021

Easy bag with Jenx and Bryher. CP nearby then a short stroll to trig. Good views to coast, where we went next and expended unused efforts on the Hump by going down to the coast at Ravenscar to view the grey seals on the beach and the interesting geology of the coast here. Better than the hill, really!nordicstar10/09/2017
A very short walk.jenx10/09/2017
Over 50 years ago (15.07.1967) walked within 20yd of the summit. On that occasion it was a walk of over 17hr to reach this point (Lyke Wake Walk), whereas today just 1 minute. A path from the car park leads directly to the trig point. (S)gerrybowes02/09/2017
