Parked on grass verge by barn to S. at SO 349871.Followed decent width field boundary but becoming overgrown with nettles and hogweed- some escapes to easier tractor lines in the crop going up to HP and trig pt. No crop plants (rape) were damaged in this walk! Worst hill of 10 Humps on holidaypwheeler04/05/2023

From the barn, round three sides of the crop field. Also visited the trig.NormanW25/05/2022

From the barn, no crops growing so straight to trig and summit.Jim.Fothergill21/08/2018
Standard route from barn. Young winter wheat crop, then the trig and small covered reservoir at summit.Herbert Anchovy17/11/2017
From the barn. Field freshly and very neatly planted with wheat, so clockwise round field boundary taking in top and trig.jenx15/10/2017
Parked in gateway to Barn in quarry. With Jenx and riund field as she says. Easy walk, limited views.nordicstar15/10/2017
As with most others, the only suitable place for parking is the old quarry near the barn to the south. However, this is close to the field boundary and so enables a three sided round the field walk if crops are growing. 1km for the three sided walk, 20 minutes return.moorsman18/05/2017
With K from old quarry by road. Field was laid to cereal crop so followed field boundary clockwise.Ashley17/04/2017
Around field boundary from old barncjo24/03/2017

Bishop's Castle to Clun: From ROW to N & plodding through snow drifts.Smudge30/03/2013
Parked on verge near milestone, up mast access road, over a couple of fences-beware of barb wire, reasonable views from trig & top, v overgrwn due to time of year, dry & warm.apricorum06/08/2012
Parked next to the ancient milestone near house and track up to mast. Theres a mamorial to a Wales goalkeeper near mast. Then across a couple of fields on ridge to trig and summit.Father Ted19/02/2012
Technically the man made covered reservoir structure 50m to the east of the trig point is the highest but also collecting trigs so who cares.Dugswell225/11/2011
Park at entrance to a small disused quarry. Stroll up over newly cut stubble to the column 5198. Lucky timing! 15.45.arranc23/08/2011
P 350m W of quarry. Through quarry and along field edge to trig.chrisbien19/07/2011
Lesley (and Rebecca) were doing the Bishops Castle Tandam Triathalon leaving me cheering them on with time to bag a few obscure hills. From barn, gate and around field edge.Chris Pearson02/07/2011
Climbed to bag the trig, and didn't realise it was a Hump at the time. Ascended from the nearby road to the south.Chingwakabungya31/05/2011
Don't think the farmer wants you on his land with all the barb wire and gates locked with rope/wire. My grid taken from top of concrete structureDARRENG03/01/2011

Easy walk up lane to transmitter site. Local lane must have been busier in earlier times as it as a mile stone to London ! http://www.heavyhorses.co.uk/humpsheavyhorses01/09/2009
Technically the reservoir structure 50m to the east of the trig point is the highest. I think Clive visited the previously erroneously grid ref'd location.summitsup28/12/2008
Does not even seem like a high point let alone a hill. Just a small ancient motte in the middle of a field. A waste of time except for the tick on the list.clivevilla10/02/2008
