Somewhat unsatisfactory; probably needed to ask permission but didn't really feel justified to disturb someone. Went into adjacent field and looked through hedge to garden where apparently the HP is located a few metres away. All very level and disturbed ground. | Denise | 23/07/2023 |
Parked in Horse Race Lane. Walked along the busy road to the gated driveway of the house and also visit the field on the E side of the garden. The hedge line as close as we get, but the garden is all quite level and only fractionally higher. Not ideal but the best we can manage. | RichardM | 23/07/2023 |

Driving back from Bristol Airport, decided to grab this on the way through, gaining access looked like a potential chore but Gerry's description was helpful in getting to it. Early enough on a Saturday morning to not worry about being a pest to anyone, a quick dart in and out and back on my way | lboutside | 10/12/2022 |
Followed guidance from gerrybowes for what was a rather unsatisfactory bag even if it qualified by the head height rule. A swimming pool maintenance tradesman was entering through the gates as I walked back along the verge but any urge to sneak in was easily dismissed. | milimana | 28/11/2022 |
As Tony and Gerry. | Minto | 29/06/2022 |
From layby by water tower, walked to Horse Race Lane and stepped over low wall into field. Got as close as I could with my head safely above highpoint in private garden. | Tony J | 19/05/2022 |

As pwheeler. Parked in rough layby next to water tower, W. of entrance to property at ST 5093 7214 - Along grass verge past the gated entrance to house & turned left into Horse Race Lane - N. along lane for about 40m & easily over low bit of wall; no barbed wire - Around edge of field, shielded by trees, until E. of high point in garden. Circular walk from Failand to Bristol Airport and Dundry Down. | JazDisney | 14/03/2021 |
Revisit whilst collecting BM. Access To adjacent fields but left privacy of gardens especially in these covid times. | cjo | 02/01/2021 |
A chore to bag. Parked by tower, plenty of space. Accessed field from Horse Race La, easy over broken wall to highest point. The ground in the landscaped garden is higher but landscaped so satisfied to count this hill as bagged. Noticed a gate to get back on lane, innocently passed through noticing the Private land/CCTV notice on it. | pwheeler | 14/10/2020 |

Highest point seems to be in the gardens of Highridge , which is difficult to access. Another flat hill. Layby parking by water tower c100m to the west along the B3128. | Hillsidenick | 31/03/2013 |

Same route as chrisbien. I suspect the house is on the highest point. | Chris Peart | 04/03/2013 |
Fortunately someone had left a breeze block up against the tallish fence, in the field. The guard dogs must have been having lunch - much to my relief. | jimbloomer | 02/02/2013 |

Summit is located in the garden of a private house... with large wrought iron gates... and a sign warning of dogs! We approached the gate, but didn't attempt the trespass. | jonglew | 28/04/2012 |

Rounded top in the very private grounds of 2 posh houses behind hedges. We crept into a field to the highest bit- probably as high as anything else looking at the map – couldn’t really see -peered through the hedge - - casing the joint – hope we are not on security cameras | Chris Pearson | 04/08/2010 |
ran through field to as near to house as possible. Inside fence looked a few feet higher but couldn't climb over fence. | DARRENG | 06/07/2010 |

High point is next to a posh house with guard dog signs on the gates on to the main road. However, if you go down the side road, you can walk across a lawned field and get near enough as it is flat anyway. | clivevilla | 21/03/2008 |
