Parked by the church then followed the path with Russ on a very windy day. Views superb at the top to the Brecon Beacons, Dunkery Beacon and down the Bristol Channel - this hill is well worth doing.Richard27/11/2021

Parked tight against the church wall at ST 3350 5074 - SE along road for about 50m & then left up well-worn RoW to the jubilee memorial stone. Celebrates the golden & diamond jubilee of Victoria & the silver jubilee of Elizabeth II; also the coronation of Edward VII & George V. On return, took shortcut on obvious worn path through graveyard to lych gate & car. (S)gerrybowes07/04/2021
From East Brent Church, fps signposted/marked, good direct route, a bit slithery on steepest ground. Fine, interesting summit with very good views on a clear day. To vary the route I went down steps off the W.side and via Manor Fm., then a quiet lane and fp back to church (interesting carvings of nobles on side of tower). Newly planted conservation/access woodland on NW side of lane would have given a tarmac-free alternative to a section of the lane. A lot of interest crammed into less than 4 km.pwheeler15/10/2020

From East Brent. Avoided the showers but not the mud as we squeezed along the path by the school fence. Worth the climb.Newton Maximus12/03/2020

Visited while camping near Taunton with Carol and the dogs. I've walked up before but not logged the ascents. We parked in a gateway on a lane at grid ref ST 339516. Took the wrong path and ended up climbing a fence and forcing our way through brambles and nettles. A very hazy afternoon but impressive views nonetheless.Skip15/09/2019
Driven past this hill many times, I've now finally climbed it. From Brean Down I parked at a farm entrance to the NW. There is a sign in the village saying to Knoll Via Farm. easy walk up with great views all round.fosal2901/09/2019
