Ascended from Harting Downs National trust car park. Did Harting Downs, and Beacon Hill on the way and back doing South Downs way back around Beacon Fell and over Harting Downs again, with two friends Iain and Peter. Lovely hot sunny day. A tough 7 ascents & descents training run from Cocking car park. 18km over 4 and half hours accumulating 900 metres of ascent. With L and Betty the Jack Russel. Warm humid wet air with clinging mist, fine rain and saturated vegetation - welcome to cool us down in our shorts and t- shirts - reminiscent of the lush foothills of the Himalayas today!
