SOLO. Made use of the long-stay car park in Storrington (free only on Sundays). Took Monastery lane and then the footpath past Kithurst farm into the woods. Up the hill and then onto the trig point. Along to Chantry Hill and then on to Blackpatch hill via corn fields and footpaths. Cracking views from the top of Blackpatch Hill. There is still a fenced off area which is apparently for a model plane flying club. Off down to Myrtle Grove farm and round to Harrow Hill. Through fields of goats and Lllamas before heading back to Kithurst and down via Chantry hill. Plenty of wildlife around: kites and hares. I should have paid more attention to the time whilst admiring the sunset from Kithurst as my last 30 minutes of descent was made more challenging in the dark!Buck13/10/2019
