Standard approach from Ballachulish. Boggy path and heathery slopes but great undulating ridge once on top. Not much snow. Sunny and light wind. Fantastic views to mull, cruachan, blackmount, glen etive, glencoe, mammores, glenfinnan and morvern, 7 hours.alexmaclennan10/03/2015
Walked from Ballachulish w Jenx, from NN080577 after tea at the Quarry cafe, good track to NN069548 where the Glen Creran path dissapears! Wet ascent to the ridge, which soon dries out to a great switchback to summit. Back same way.nordicstar23/07/2011

Cairngorm Club weekend meet at Glen Coe, based on Torren Cottages. Solo. I drove to Glen Creran and up the glen on a minor road to the parking place. I walked up the glen on the forest track. At about 060519 I ascended up through forest difficult at times and climbed open ground above to reach the summit of area having spot height of 718m although the highest point is further SW. I reached this point and continued over point 671m to reach the summit of Fraochaidh.pwbellarby24/01/1998
