Anti clockwise circuit of the Blarcreen Burndaviemore05/03/2022
A round of the Blarcreen tops, starting besides the bridge and along the woodland footpath to the foot of Ceann Creige. Good terrain and ice-hardened ground enabled a swift walk to its top and on to the impressively cairned Beinn Duirinnis. A steep descent northeastwards into the shadowy Lairig Duirinnis was rewarded by a sunny ascent of Beinn Phlaicaig South Top and its even more interesting lodged-boulder summit then on to the main top and the two Beinn Mheadhonach tops. Getting cold now so returned down the west flank until we reached a fence and parallel deer track that helped us back down to Blarcreen. Great walk taking about 4.30 hrs.summitter04/01/2022
