Followed the WH route from the high point of the road, and as the weather improved a bit, did the whole circuit. Some nice views ass the rain eased and the cloud broke up. 11.75km 3h 25Rockdoctor26/08/2023

Took the track/path from Drumglas, which provides a steady altitude gain without recourse to heather and bracken trampling. Once due west of Beinn a' Chuallaich it was a simple matter of scampering to the summit, for spectacular 360 degree views. Along the broad ridge to Meall nan Eun, then down to the western shore of Loch na Caillich, looking gloriously blue in the bright, bright sunshine. A quick spurt to Meall na Moine, then an eastward descent linking dried up burns and short grass sections to the stalkers path to the B847. Another superb summer saunter. Even the walk back to the car was lovely in these trafficless times.summitter31/05/2020

Ah Scotland. Went from having the most picturesque, sunny summit on Beinn a' Chuallaich to icey cold winds on Meall nan Eun. Can't say it was that enjoyable therefore but the company was exceptional. With trimarc2 and GFE.Fionalevey05/05/2019
