Biked in from Calvine to near the dam north of Bruar Lodge, then followed the Allt Beinn Losgarnaich path to Beinn Losgarnaich and on to An Sligearnach. Turned NE to the Beinn Bhreac NW & NE Tops, which is mostly heather, before bagging the main summit from its north end. Something of a slog over to Meall Tionail na Beinne Brice and Beinn Gharbh, but at least the Tarf Water was running low for an easy crossing. Then back to the bike for a cruise back to Calvine. | summitter | 04/08/2022 |
Parked NN840001. Biked to a base camp at Lochan an t-Sluic NN827903. Bagged from there. | BaggerGutt | 04/07/2022 |
On route between Beinn Bhreac NW Top and Glas-leathad Feshie. | PGCE | 22/06/2021 |
Two surprises. The walk from Glas-leathad Feshie was thoroughly enjoyable, mostly over easy grass or short firm heather. And there is a cairn on the expansive stony summit. A fine spot, worth the 25km it took to get there. Pity about the rain. | alda | 12/07/2016 |
