From the Waterhead carpark, then along mainly grouse terroriser tracks, with the occasional heathery diversion, to bag the Glansie Glen hills of Wester Hill, Earn Skelly, Ruragh, Hill of Glansie, Hill of Garbet, and Hill of Mondurran. Had to cross the Burn of Glansie to get back to the car, but relatively straightforward. 4.5 hrs total. | summitter | 08/10/2022 |
Eskielawn from picnic area near top end of Backwater Reservoir,. Had buke but decided to walk it all. Easy going all the way with a grassy track to pass within 50 yards of summit. Drove round then to Waterhead for Hill of Mondurran. Equally straightforward. Dropped down to cross bridge after last house, roughish path for 400 metres then easily straight up the wall to the summit track and along to summit. | dickscroop | 22/05/2022 |
3rd hill of the day using track marked on map, from tamhilt, re-climbed tamhilt on the way back as the circular track goes through Braco Farm. Great feeling of spaciousness walking this ridge, lots of wildlife. | hils | 07/08/2021 |

Walked in on the path from Waterhead but ascended at the first fence mostly on grass. There is a large cairn but it is not on the highest point. New estate road over the top. Walked on to Hill of Glansie. | JohnW | 15/04/2019 |
