Final top for the day before the pleasant walk back to the car. | Fellhugger | 22/11/2023 |
A lengthy trek from the Queen's View carpark along the track to Cnap Chaochan Aitinn was relieved by seeing some nice woodland regen in the glen. Although very hot, extremely strong winds ironically forced us to have lunch cowering behind the summit weather station. Once we had got our breaths back and quiche consumed we almost flew over to Cnap Eas Chaorach, before having to lean into a slog back over the Graham and the ensuing heather and hag to Carn na Ruabraich. Further meteorological and vegetational punishment to Carn Ruabraich and Druim na h-Easgainn before dropping down to the sheltered Delavorar and back on-track to the camper. | summitter | 17/07/2021 |
