Hadn't planned to include this top but wanted to rinse some more out of this lovely ridge. Descended NW to the eastern of the two lochans. I do not recommend you try this as you are likely to become a statistic. Better to return to the main summit and then head NW, as per SMC guide. However, once at the lochans, I followed a deer track through the birch woodland to the dam, which I crossed and this is a delectable spot. Unfortunately, the eastern lochan probably won't be there for much longer as the dam is crumbling. On to Beinn Clachach South Top.Wycombe Wanderer03/06/2023

Left summit just before 9pm in heavy rain and fierce cold wind, steep descent to glen, ok route along south shore of loch, climbed over broken dam to reach track, lost a glove and half an hour, got very wet, saw a badger loping along track in the dusk, back at car at 11:45.alda19/05/2015
