Walked along Speyside Way from Kingussie to Newtonmore, met friends then walked up through Strone, to path along forest edge, ascended west facing slopes to summit. Descent via North ridge, then back to Kingussie via golf course loop.Bob-e02/03/2024
From the free car park in the centre of Kingussie. Waymarked trail to summit and looped around back behind the golf course. A very wet afternoon with memories of the East Highland Way trip a few years earlier. With Gillian and Jacquierichard6908/10/2023
From free cp in centre of Kingussie, up waymarked path to summit. Back same way. Lots of Red Squirrel.Flatfield19/09/2023
Family holiday hillwalk - up from the free carpark beside the medical practice. Followed the waymarked trail to the top (gravel pending on the path) and then down to walk through the golf course trail and mill trail. Some forestry work but nothing that affected the trail.ragudave12/07/2023
Parked by Kingussie caravan park and GC. Up NE ridge, Down SE ridge, heavy snow, 50 to 60 mph wind on top. With Lisa.CJM19/01/2023

From Kingussie through a well mantained footpath, with a circular hike (up via South summit, down via golf course & St.Vincent hospital). Fine weather and beautiful panorama. Yesterday in the early morning, I had already attempted to climb this hill, but later on I noticed that I mistook its S summit for the actual summit, also due to a thik fog.Pampuco06/06/2022
From the Duke of Gordon Hotel, up past the hospital, round the north edge of the golf course to Loch Gynack and steeply up to the summit. Continued along the ridge to return via the Terrace Trail. Well signposted, mainly good trails when off-road.martin_hall10/04/2022

Storm Dennis : too windy for anything higher. Waymarked path from Kingussie, did all three tops, good views to the flooded Spey valley, descended north to the lochan then took the longer anti-clockwise loop back to Kingussie. Two red squirrels seen on the way back. With TH, MH, PJ, AJ.Owen B16/02/2020
My last walk of 2019 and just a short hike on a glorious day. From the golf club and then followed the finger post through the caravan park, the new stone path was excellent though the ice meant a careful descent after visiting all of the high points.Peterb31/12/2019
Out and back ascent from the car park in Kingussie. Views and feel of the hill much wilder than a village start point might suggest. With NPkenmorti18/10/2019

Set off from GC CP along good way marked track. Triple summit - very windy - difficult to stand on each summit in the wind. Most southerly summit is a shapely knoll.ger29/12/2018
Parked at the caravan park and took an anticlockwise route up to and past Loch Gynack, before ascending the hill from the west.BigJ15/11/2018

After bagging 2 Corbetts earlier was going to the Coop in Kingussie and saw the info board saying 2 hours for this Marilyn and a well sign posted route. So back on with the boots and arrived at the tops in 35 minutes. Not sure what is the top, but the highest point looked to be the one without a cairn. Visted 5 places to be sure. I think this needs a good survey.Jhimmy21/04/2018
Visited all 3 high points on a very snowy, wintery day. Weather too bad to tackle anything higher. Nice little hill, up signposted route from Kingussie car park.Dangerous Dave18/03/2018
Parked at end of West Terrace (NH 74541 00590) following sign posted track to summit cairn (NNE 467m spot height). Rock 25m NNE looks higher and looking back at cairn noticed point way beyond to SSW looks higher than cairn. Went to this point as well approx ¼ mile to SSW (SSW 467m spot height)and indeed cairn from this point looks lower. Recommend visiting all three points as current observation is all three points are same height. So is it a candidate to be a twin/triple Marilyn summit?mntainman31/01/2018
Pleasant hike circuit from Kingussie. About 10km. Snow cover and slippery footpaths. Fresh snow and icy.Hammy29/12/2017
