With Heather and her first hill for circa 10 weeks. Stunning end to November. | garbo1103 | 30/11/2022 |
Parked at the forestry road entrance at NH378359. Went straight on at the first junction then bore up and left over the ruined wall and picked up an old stalker's path (not on any map old or new that I've seen) that zig-zagged up through the woods. Got sketchier above the commercial plantation but by that time I was in more open birch woods. Over two deer fences then just followed up to the south of the Carnoch Burn (fine today but bracken might be a pain in summer on the lower part) up rather uninspiring slopes to the 515m top and the summit. | StueyB | 29/10/2022 |
