|From roadside (NG 8299 5135) with Steves Smith & Lewis. Steeply up snow-clad heather slopes. Ridge walk over the other 3 Ben Shieldaig hills in a mixed weather day of sunshine and snow showers. Dropped down to second car parked 1.5km SE along the road. The up onto An Staonach.||jonglew||11/02/2018|

|W Jenx, parked Shieldaig village, cut onto hill at GR 817536 and steeply up heather slopes and small crags direct up end. At higher crag cut right (S) and make tricky traverse up steep ground to outflank. Then easy to top, no obvious feature.||nordicstar||09/12/2012|
|from Shieldaig. down and up to this top then to the site of a trig column at 12.00. Only 4 iron corner posts remain. What a view! 11 out of 10. Why go overseas when Torridon is on the doorstep.||arranc||04/06/2009|
