Standard route up and down from the cemetery parking. With PJ, AJ, TH, AM.Owen B11/02/2024
Creag Dhubh then Creag Chonochair from the Cemetery CP. About 2.45hrs to complete, ascending from the W and returning along the southern flank of Creag Dhubh once beyond the forestry. Very dry conditions so no real issues, but I suspect that the dip between the two hills will be very boggy in wet conditions.summitter02/06/2023
From car park by chapel (NN306812), ascended NW then N to fence junction (NN304817), NE up slopes to an indistinct ATV track, followed that up to ridge, continuing on to summit, returned same way to start (2h30m)kdbennett22/04/2023

After storm winds and hail, a brief respite before next snow arrived 12:30pm! Good views of Easains to Chlachair, though overcast and dull lighting. Saturated underfoot with icy water, and wet snow on upper slopes. Nice rocky top but bitter in W gale.NorfolkPT2101/02/2023

From Cille Choirill church CP, over Tom a'Chrochaire and a parallel road to the west ridge and on to the summit. Expansive and interesting views throughout the walk.Nick Down131/08/2021
Park at the church then just headed up hill. Good views of the Glen Spean from loch Laggan to fort WilliamNozzer12/04/2021
Up from the Church with Debs & Tali via Tom a' ChrochaireMountain Goat28/09/2020
Evening bag from the beautifully situated Cille Choirill church, going straight up over Tom a' Chrochaire from the car park and trending left to join the W ridge early. An ATV track on the ridge eases the going over numerous false summits. Sunset over Lochaber on the way down. 90 minutes round trip, since I was legging it to get back to Roybridge before the pub stopped serving food.Mark Jackson28/08/2020
Second hill of the day. Solo with Rosie from Cille Chorill carpark following SMC guidebook route. Low cloud on top.alexmaclennan05/08/2020

Parked at the church. Half day, short round trip on a relatively unremarkable hill but well worth it for the expected stunning grandstand views south and the rather less obvious views west.benalder28430/03/2019
Parked at the church - 307813. Just over 2 hour return in remarkably warm february conditions. Good underfoot in reasonably dry conditions. Solo.bolton15/02/2019
MC A quick return trip in 1 hr 55. Dry, cool and overcast. Summit clear. Great views westwards down Glen Spean.Martin6624/11/2018

From wee church. Largely sunny, warm breeze. Rounsfell14/05/2018
A lovely walk from the church parking area. Ratio of reward to effort very high. Superb views and wonderfully easy going underfoot.Gill12/05/2018
Started on track from main road immediately north of Tulloch station to avoid 60mph winds. Initially by being in the trees and later by virtue of walking down wind. In the event wind not too bad except on very top where could barely stand.Down more or less due souith to road picking edge of trees as a guide lower down - no problems.dickscroop17/03/2018
A quick up and down from the carpark of Cille church.Peterb14/09/2016
Parked in Church car park NN306813 along path beside graveyard (spooky in the mist) hopped over fence in corner where plastic flowers had been dumped, across field of sheep to fence along the line of this to gate & headed straight up to cairn near trig point.rogreeves26/03/2016
Parked Cille Choirill church then uphill towards the ridge and mist to find a bit of a soggy track to gain the summit on a cold grey day with Chris and Lionel.Dugswell221/03/2016

Very snowy day with Rick Jen and Brian. Stopping at Roy Bridge to celebrate my birthday and retirement and Ricks birthday. From Cille Chorille church up over the small top next to it and up the wide ridge to Creag Dhubh. Low visibility all the way and trailbreaking by the others through the soft snow. Once on top huckled down for some food and the cloud cleared and we were blessed with an inversion with views across to mountain tops in the distance poking up through it. Also had our own ice or fog halo and when Rick and I stood on the top we had a brocken spectre too. What a first day of retirement, will take some beating.Mark T17/01/2015
As Viewfinder, nice route. Parked at Coire Choirill church up SW ridge, in deep snow. 4 of us to break the trail, misty day, intermittent sunsine. No visibility of the false summits, just a very frozen Vanessa on top and four baggers. Back same way after seeing a Ice Halo and tops of Grey Corries in teh distance, great if cold day.nordicstar17/01/2015

although the map shows a track and the graham book mentions it as well, it is pretty much gone. Furthermore most of the hill side has been replanted with small trees and is now covered with loads of square holes, so better option is to head left of the chopped down forest, and go along the grassy slopes next to the river up the hill. much better ascent, we came down that way.tallblond14/06/2014
With M. Easy climb but very windy.douglas_easton24/03/2014
with renee from bohenie.robertphillips29/09/2013
Parked car at Bohenie, followed track to bottom of SW shoulder and then up the levels and layers using an overgrown quad bike track. Incredibly humid, little breeze and many many flies of all kinds made the climb difficult, worth it for summit with amazing views.Columba07/07/2013
Creag Dhubh (NN 322824) S/F NN 293828 Another perfect day, once again wall to wall sunshine and not too cold - wind much lighter than 2 days ago. No problems but a few fences to negotiate.John Young01/04/2013
Easy ascent from Coire Choirill church up SW ridge. Morning cloud soon burned off to leave a cloudless sky and snowcapped Munros visible in all directions.Topographer5725/02/2013

Summit cairn is 19m ENE from trig pillar and approx 1m higher than flush bracket i.e. 658.67 +1m. From SW, cemetery car park, skirted round steep slope, across stream and straight up. RHW25/03/2012
