Clockwise round that inc. Gleouraich. Fantastic stalkers path from the roadside onto Bac nan Canaichean. Cold strong wind from NW that moved to SW as day progressed, cloudbase often approx. 750m but did rise occasionally to give some great views, south Claunie ride particularly impressive. Ground frozen from approx. 500m. With 6 friends.Neily There11/02/2022

with Jamie and Ben-Ji and almost missing proper summit. Clagged in and only got 1.50k map, having got to summit ridge and turned right gone further, finally find another major cairm which I assume to be the summit. We sit down for lunch for 20 mins or so and are just about to get up and hoof it on down the slope back when there is the briefest of half second break in the cloud revealing the true summit 3-400m away. quite shocked that I may have gone down and never ever realised I'd actually not been to the real summit!vegibagger25/08/2009

Stalkers' path from L. Cuaich. With B.McC.The Captain30/07/2006
I drove to Tomdoun expecting to meet two friends, but mobile phone not getting good reception, so I wasn't sure what they were doing. Went along the road and found one of their cars at the point where the road crosses Allt a' Ghobhainn. A stalkers' path goes northwards from here giving access to the north side of Spidean Mialach. I knew the plan was to approach Spidean Mialach and Gleouraich from the north so I assumed they had followed the stalkers' path. I did not know what time they had set off so I shortened my walk, expecting to see them somewhere on the ridge connecting the two hills. I walked up the stalkers' path to the bealach and then went west to reach the summit of Glac Raineach. Continued to reach the summit of Spidean Mialach, over a minor bump and down to the bealach with Gleouraich. There I met them! They had come up the stalkers' path from the north, which goes up to a point a little east of the bealach and does not end lower down as the map suggests.pwbellarby27/06/2006

Gleouraich & Spidean Mialach on a hot, sunny day but hazy views with Shaky. The usual route using the excellent stalkers path to the summit of Gleouraich. Round the tops & summits & SW off Spidean (my 200th Munro) to pick up the other path leading almost back to the start point. A warm-up for Knoydart proper the following day.NotReallyABagger27/05/1999

Along the ridge from Gleouraich. With an intervening top this made a magnificent walk- eased by good paths on and off the mountains. Most guidebooks seem to follow the same route on these two Munros and we were happy to follow them. Down via Coire Mheil, glorious silvery light over Knoydart with all the mountains in viewpwheeler22/05/1993
