From Ardgartan, along the forest road, then up the signposted path through the forest in the direction of The Brack. Left the path at 500m and made a straight line to the summit, which involved passing over a couple of candidates, one of which I thought was higher. | NormanW | 30/01/2024 |
From Coilessan Glen car at road end after Cnoc Coinnich andthe Brack. Good FP to start then various tracks. Went to a couple of knolls but assumed top was one with cairn. | PeterD | 08/06/2023 |
v. wet ground and a dreadful approach path from forest, but partial views from the top. | oatcake | 29/10/2022 |

From free carpark just beyond the Ardgarten Visitor Centre (turn right when the yellow road turns left) | Alan Moore | 13/10/2021 |
Car park shut and logging works diverted route. Parked further down road. Skirted round works and ascended through thinnest part of woods. | Oh no I forgot... | 19/08/2021 |
Note the car park at NN259011 is currently closed. There is some parking on lay-bys earlier on the forest track. | BaggerGutt | 19/08/2021 |
From NE, forest road, The Brack track to col then bumpy ridge. Delayed start due to heavy shower, sunny ascent, light rain on descent, down by 2140, plenty of time! | RHW | 26/05/2021 |

With Ken Richard and Michael, for the latter's final Simm - a remarkable completion | Colin Crawford | 16/07/2019 |
The Brack track all the way to the bealach, turn left over many false wee summits and visit both tops for safety. Liz says path is not good for shorter people and those with bad knees (big steps). Cold and clear, sunny. | iangalbraith | 18/11/2018 |
Ardgartan - N corrie of the Brack - Cruach Fhiarach - The Brack - Cnoc Coinnich - returned via Coillessan Glen. Long out and back from point NN249029 on the Brack path. More than one false summit - not for thick mist! | Mark Jackson | 23/08/2017 |
Came back to this after it was made uo to a Graham top. Started on 'The Brack'path from Forestry car park until about 100m after coming out of forest then more or less on a compass bearing. Some interesting ground! - just have faith in grass and roots as handholds. Descent was a line much closer to the col; between the summit and The Brack. | dickscroop | 23/04/2017 |

With James Bellarby. From NN270033, going steeply up through forest (felled in upper parts) via minor E tops* to the Brack (trig point). The summit area is quite rocky. The descent was to the col with E tops, then N to join a forest track (not shown on 1:50,000 map). A few patches of fresh snow. * The most easterly of these was subsequently found to have the name Cruach Fhiarach. | pwbellarby | 04/05/1987 |
