On way to and from Beinn Bheag starting from Benmore garden cp, cycle to Bernice, up to col, onto Beinn Mhor then Meall Breac. | MichaelF | 27/03/2023 |
From the higher Glenbranter CP, along the Cowal Way forestry track into Glen Shellish until the track ends at the head of the glen. Straight up the SW slope of the Meall Breac's then on to Beinn Bheag and the fab views along Loch Eck. Continued northwards to the Cruach Bhuidhe tops before needing to make a choice on how to get down to the forest tracks below. We plumped for a NW descent - eventually finding an old grass track that in turn led to a more defined forestry track and gave access to the zig-zagging surfaced tracks of Glen Shellish. | summitter | 18/06/2022 |
Subjectively, this felt like a Tump rather than a sub, probably due to the rough terrain | Colin Crawford | 22/04/2021 |

An hour's ride on bike from Glenbranter on a reasonable track high above Loch Eck. Turned up track at Bernice to its end. No path of any sort to bealach. On very rough grass by a stream for 1,000'. Some iron fence posts as an indication of human presence. To Beinn Bheag. | arranc | 21/07/2010 |
