From parking area past gate out tarmac road then up access road to Ben Buck NE Top. Returned to Backhills then direct to Bald Hill (tough going with snow in ATV ruts). Dropped back to Frandy Farm and track to car.SS17/11/2019
From Alva up the glen to East to end of made up road and contoured round Ben Buck to windfarm. Bad idea as it got increasingly haggy until the windfarm tarmac. On way back just went over Ben Buck on tracks. Nice views when you can't see the blades.Thearlaichdubh13/09/2019
Left the car on the A823 at the end of the Glendevon Reservoirs road (which was very icy, and Private !). Long walk in to the windfarm then a serious plod to the high point through snow which was soft, yielding, and drifting in the cold NE wind. Apart from the turbines, a real sense of wilderness. Returned over Bald Hill, total 14.2k.NormanW06/01/2018
Ochil rambling from A823. Round of Wether, Craigentaggart, Core, BuckNE and Bald. Plenty of tracks and wind turbines.Topographer5729/10/2017
The great and magnificent Ben Buck NE Top done Last hill of four around the reservoir. Easy walking on the wind turbine tracks.Play2End28/10/2016

parked car at entrance to windfarm on A823 ACW round of bald hill, ben buck NE Top, ben cleuch, the law, andrew gannel hill, skythorn hill, middle hill, cairnmorris hill, ben shee, nice sunny day mostly on good paths and atv tracks.robertphillips09/06/2016
From Woodland car park, up track to end on moorland. Best line is half right, uphill for about 80m ascent - faint vehicle tracks - which contour round to the fence junction. Then wind farm roads (not all marked on 1:25K map), and summit. Returned similar way, but descended over Craighorn.Minto05/05/2016
From Alva Glen car park up lorry track west of Ben Ever and east of the Nebbit / Craighorn to its end. Then contoured round north side of Ben Buck to foot of Burnfoot Hill at another lorry road and two buildings. Would have been better going over Ben Buck to avoid peat hags. Back via Ben Cleuch and Ben Ever.russell6107/04/2016
P nr dam Upper Glendevon res. Road to Backhills then windfarm road nearly to top. With Tom.chrisbien05/01/2013
