From parking space just beyond the cattle grid. 100m further up the road a rough stone track cuts its way up to Brandy Well, turning into an ATV track that runs besides a fence all the way across Rowantree Hill to Craigenreoch. A route continues across Polmaddie Hill to Pinbreck Hill before turning north to take in Changue and Haggis Hill. From the latter we descended NE and then over a couple of field gates to cross sheep fields above the Balloch Burn. We eventually had to cross both this and Corrn Roy to reach the road above ... not straightforward when in spate if you can't long jump. Back up the Nick of Balloch to the camper. Almost 3hrs in total.summitter14/12/2023
Parked in large passing place ~125m NW cattle grid (NX 3485 9238). Took mapped track ~90m NW further along road leads all the way to Craigenreoch Hill and continues on to Pinbreck Hill. From there it's rough ground down to the 406m spot height and up to Cairn Hill. Went out for the Mid Hill trig pillar, then returned to same 406m spot height; ascended to 490m contour then contoured round to the 494m spot height and up to here - all rough ground with occasional deer trods. On to Haggis Hill.jonglew14/12/2022
