From Beinn Clachach. Decended to Dubh Lochain and crossed the dam at west end. Walked back along Southern shore briefly before heading up grassy slopes to attain NW ridge which rises steeply in places on occasional paths to the summit ridge. The top has two cairns about 30m apart. The furthest east one give good views up Loch Hourn to Kinlochhourn.Jossker10/06/2023

Excellent circular walk from NW - small CP NG849094. Along track to NG884091 - over Eigin Allt. Then steeply up to Marilyn Druim Fada. Along roller coaster ridge to trig and off NW spur. Hardest part was getting down thru' the wood at NG850092 - not the vegetation, just very steepcarole engel27/05/2023
Car park at Corran with D. Dave, CM, Jill R and Lorraine K. Pathalong Glen Arnisdale. Headed upwards from 885091. Stiff climb in cloud.bolton23/05/2023
From car park at Corran. Steep but enjoyable ascent of the north ridge directly to the summit. With Jill, Lorraine, Chris & Phil. Interesting walk back westwards along the undulating wide ridge over all the minor tops.Dangerous Dave23/05/2023
From Corran Heritage Centre on road to vehical track along Glen Arnisdale over bridge. Left track when fences end near Allt Bàn through birch wood to ridge, over bumps some scrambling to summit back avoiding bumps on ridge same way. Not much to recommend this route on a wet & windy day.rogreeves29/03/2023
Picked our way along the ridge stopping to soak in the viewsFellhugger13/08/2022
From Kinlochhourn steeply through lovely woodland to Cadha Dubh, then continuing easily on the undulating track; good bridge over main river. I took the northern stalker’s path, then went up the ridge N of Coire nan Gobhar, very straightforward in contrast to the more complex route via the Carn nan Caorach path. The crest of the E ridge is very fine and seems quite exciting in mist, weaving around many bumps, craglets and outcrops. Fortunately, the mist and rain cleared on the way back, so it was very easy to find the way down; would have been awkward if still misty, even though it’s just one bearing. Big climb but easy and scenic back over Cadha Dubh; the 199m and 192m spot heights are lower than the bealach. Section 10A complete.Gill27/06/2022
Parked Corran Community Hall. Followed track from 400m back on tarred road to just beyond its highest point, then across a stream and up directly from there. High point probably top of rock near westernmost cairn. Would have been better to have climbed first 15 minutes via our descent route of lowish north west ridge then turning left down a grassy ramp to rejoin track. Generally fairly steep in lower reaches. Footpath on map for most western mile on south side of River Arnisdale was good on our visit.willyross07/06/2022

From Corran, on Langie Glen Elg meet.Grinner25/09/2021
Cycled up from Arnisdale as far as possible, then steeply up track to just beyond its highest point, then across a stream and up a steep grassy ramp, then turned right onto north west ridge, steep in places but no difficulties.Topographer5720/07/2021
A long day starting from Corran. Went right up the Glen and along the stalkers path to follow the ridge to the DF summit. Descended around the two lochans on seeing a path. Not a great idea. Lots of wet rock, very steep grass etc. Had to cross the burn and ended up aside the crumbling dam. Was glad to get back to Corran. Tea hut sadly shut after our long day.ragudave06/07/2021
From Kinloch Hourn. Ascended from Dubh Lochain dam, then descended via E ridge to stalkers' path from Carn nan Caorach.quadbarrel01/07/2021
From Corran. Nice track along glen, climb up v.steep. Returned back W along the ridge, lots of up and down with some scrambling.douglas_easton25/09/2020

From Corran, up Glen Arnisdale, over bridge and along to descending zig zags. Then steeply up on grass and rocky outcrops with occasional cairn to summit. Visited both cairns and then along ridge visiting all tops to Sgurr Mor. Delightful walk with outstanding views in all directions. Down rocky and grassy slopes to track which led straight to tearoom! Excellent hill and fine ridge.MichaelF13/07/2018
Druim Fada ridge and Beinn Clachach from Corran. Sgurr Mor Far West Top, West Top, Near West Top and Sgurr Mor, Druim Fada. Descent W then NNW (with care) down to W end of Dubh Lochain. Walked approx. 400m along shore then climbed steeply to join SW ridge of Beinn Clachach, visiting summit and nearby lower knolls. Across to W top then descent N then NW to join track leading back to Glen Arnisdale. Hot day, but clouds developed and dropped to summit level.RobertP01/07/2018

Up Glen Arnisdale to summit. Then West along ridge taking in all summits.NormanW05/04/2017
Ascended on east side of Eigin Allt. Very steep and ended up in rotten rock gully. Not pleasant. No water in burns. Superb summit views. Decided to avoid ridge due to time pressures and water shortage. Descended steeply in Coire na Cosaig and then long walk back to Corran using excellent track.Campbell Singer09/06/2016

From the CP at road end in Corran. Up the track to West of hill to high point then steep ground all way to top. After summit cairn along the ridge with tops and trig all the way to far west top, then to end and cut direct down to gate in lower pasture using deer tracks. Day turned wet but still a great outing.nordicstar17/05/2016
Along the track, up, then back along the ridge. I thought I would enjoy this ridge but didn't. Mist and rain probably didn't help. And it's difficult to avoid any of the tops. So lots of steep up and down. Ok if you want to tick tops. Otherwise a load of effort for one Graham.jenx17/05/2016

From Corran. Wet. Reversed normal route so that if I was going to drown in the thigh deep 'fords' on the track, it would be after I got the summit bagging tick. Did I mention it was wet? And windy.Martin R21/02/2012

Parked at Corran. Access road to Glen Arnisdale, bridge over river. Track climbs sharply on zig zags before falling to 2 lochans. Followed deer tracks across stream and up green gulley to ridge, passing rocky outcrops. Each step rising about a foot at a time. Open area to check GPS and to top at 13.25. Twin tops 60m apart. Magic views. Loch Hourn full length to Barrisdale.arranc14/08/2005
