Solo from camp at Strathan. Cycled to Glendessarry Lodge and walked up good track alongside Allt na Feithe then up SE ridge to Druim a' Chuirn top.Lovely traverse over A'Cioch and onto Sgurr Cos na Breachd -laoidh. Descent via SSE ridge to Glendessarry Lodge. | John Lee | 07/09/2023 |
Horseshoe route from main car park at the end of the road along Loch Arkaig. Ascended N then NW up the shoulder of the corbett from the Glendessary Lodge, and a final ascent up to the summit. From there, traversed across the ridge to Druim a' Chuirn, before descending SE down to the path from Glen Kingie, back down to the farm and the farm track back out to Strathan and the car. Total time: 4h 57min with a few photo/summit stops. | mproudfoot | 06/08/2023 |

From A Chuil bothy, across to Upper lodge and then straight up starting just east of lodge where a path goes off. Surprisingly straightforward, not as steep as it looks, and I hit ridge just about 50 metres below summit. Then followed the ridge round to Druim a Chuirn and the 815m top. Took the long way back straight down the SE ridge to stalkers pat and the main Gglendessary track. | dickscroop | 11/09/2022 |

From parking at road end. Track to Glendessary Lodge. Initially on ATV track from the lodge, then pathless up the broad SE shoulder. Rough going, kept on veering off to the left, a bit better once above 550m. | Owen B | 22/08/2021 |
Up the Glendessarry path to just shy of its highest point, then the SE flank of Druim a' Chuirn to its top. A lovely curved ridge walk on to Sgurr Cos na Breachd-laoidh, taking in the superb vistas before a steep drop to the beallach with An Eag and a more forgiving gradient to its summit. Another steep clamber to Sgurr nan Coireachan and along to its South Top for a well deserved lunch of rhubarb pie. A good path runs south to the forest edge below, and a quick dip in the Allt Coire nan Uth brought much needed refreshment before the track trudge back to the day's start. 6 hrs. | summitter | 01/08/2021 |

Solo fr Strathan roadhead, very warm but a sheet of white cloud high up, so tops clear but flat lighting. No wind, bad insects and a bit of sunburn! Became hot on descent S then SE to Glendessary (impressive new building) and very hot on landrover track back to car! Then to Ft Wm, stayed in Alexandra Hotel (not bad), where learned Dad had requested a covid test at Phil's suggestion, meaning I had to go home and self-isolate till he got his result! Sarnie time, chatted to a few walkers on summit. All completed munros and agreed the corbetts are harder to do. Good to get another brace today. Wonderful views, lucky with weather. Company: Solo | iandesbottes | 13/04/2019 |
