From S, easy parking for a couple of cars at SH 976414. Up ROW towards Hafotty Isaf. Route disappears here (no stiles over fences) so continued over fields towards summit. Over fence onto Access Land, then straight up over sheep-grazed ground. Kept to Access Land for the return. | PGCE | 27/01/2024 |

Revisit. 3 P20s, 2 P30s plus Foel Goch from 1mi W of Llangwm village. The boundary stones along the ridge all have old benchmarks. Descended good path N to village, which has another 2 BMs. Rain arrived on walk back to car, at dusk, heavy rain for most of drive home. | RHW | 16/12/2018 |

Taken as part of a 6 mile run from Bala Caravan and Camping Club Clubsite at Sarnau Route Pen Coed-y-Bedo, BrynBras, Orddu, Pen-y-cerrig-searth back to Orddu then Foel Goch - a run down the old drovers way to the Farm at Pentre-tai-yn-y-cwm a lovely chat with the farmer Mr Owen about the history of this ancient village (a very interesting bloke!) and a mild rebuke for running up BryBras which is not allowed, apparently, which is a shame because there is an excellent and almost dry path all the way to the top! | Shutterlag | 19/09/2017 |
9 mile walk from junction of minor roads south by Pandy farm, followed minor road then field footpath onto Pen Coed-Y-Bedo, then headed along grassy ridge to Bryn Bras, contoured round to Pen Y Cerrig-Serth then headed west onto Orddu and grassy trails onto Foel Goch, carried on along ridge to Garreg Fawr then across barbed wire fences onto Pen Y Bwlch Gwyn and up to conical Moel Emoel back down lane by Nant Cefn-Coch back to car, very showery and a lot of cloud on the bigger mountains surrounding, easy terrain under foot but quite wet. Drove to and bagged Craig Rhiwarth later on way home. | DanTrig | 19/08/2017 |
