Parked at the Glaslyn access gate then along track to Bugeilyn. Continued along track across Tarren Bwlch-gwyn to Clipyn Du. By far the easiest part of the walk as it was then wet and rough terrain to capture the four tops of Carn Hyddgen, Foel Uchaf, Foel Isaf and Llechwedd Crin. Sloshed up Banc Bugeilyn for good measure before retreating to the van for succour, tea and biccies. | summitter | 30/08/2023 |
6/11 I roughly followed GB's route from the cattle grid at 837952 bagging 7 Deweys and small detours to get 4 nearby minor peaks. Visited Clipyn Du, Mawnog, Carn Hyddgen, Foel Uchaf, Foel Isaf, Llechwedd Crin, Banc Bugeilyn, Esgair Greolen, Bryn yr Wyn, Foel Fadian, and finishing with Bryn y Fedwen. Some tough pathless sections, but also some quick bits with cart and quad bike tracks. Splendid views! A total distance of 27.5km with 980m ascent in 8.5 hours. | silveracorn_alan | 09/04/2022 |
No trace of the bridleway as shown by the OS, rather stiff going over heather & tussocks. HP not to obvious, visited all the likely high points. The Next hill, Foel Isaf looked miles away! | DanMaisieBex | 22/12/2021 |
Diversion off route between Esgair Greolen and Foel Uchaf. | PGCE | 13/08/2021 |

From the cattle grid 837952. I did a round of Lllechwedd Crin, Foel Isaf, Foel Uchaf, Carn Hyddgen, Clipyn Du and Mawnog. Over five hours but the pathless bits were not too bad underfoot. | clivevilla | 17/08/2016 |
alone, from Maesnant. | Rob Pen y Garn | 17/04/2016 |
From Banc Bugeilyn. Heather and rough grass hags. No mark on summit. No paths. On the second day of a two nighter bag. | mick | 04/09/2014 |

Would be an easy bag from the bridge at Bugeilyn in fine weather. But why would anyone sane bother with a sub Dewey? | Martin R | 30/12/2012 |
