Slept in the cp to the west. Along excellent forestry track at first light. Despite potholes I could have driven to within 200ms of forest top. Mature forest presented no difficulties. | Campbell Singer | 04/02/2024 |
Biked in the last km from the east. Rough but not difficult approach through the trees. | fasgadh | 03/09/2022 |
Quite a few rows of trees have now been removed and several lead straight to the top. | TK | 20/08/2021 |

With the weather looking like it was closing in I elected to drive to Clives firebreak. Wow theres a lot of potholes.. I'd not recommend it. The firebreak is bloomin horrendously rutted and getting into the trees was actually a relief.. as you approach the high point of the firebreak a track of sorts heads into the trees. Follow this easily and just keep your eyes open for the path of least resistance. Id taken secateurs with me but barely used them. Not at all satisfying but nowhere near as horrendous as the nearby trigpoint. | stig_nest | 28/09/2016 |
You can park at 204872 but you have to get there from the west not the south. Walk along Ceri Ridgeway to firebreak (not that obvious) and up to near high point of firebreak then you're pretty much on your own. | clivevilla | 30/07/2016 |
Followed forest track, followed by battle through trees. | Ramblingpaul | 03/07/2016 |

Parked SO204872 up firebreak to almost the highest point then through small gap in trees and followed small clearing around to top at SO2039287496. | Anton | 19/04/2013 |
Nice walk along the ridgeway but very hard to find the highest spot because of the density of the trees :-( | heavyhorses | 17/11/2011 |
A diversion from cyling along the Kerry Ridgeway. | summitsup | 13/11/2011 |
Trees wet this morning. First of two soakings from pushing through conifers. | Dusty | 20/06/2009 |
fairly pointless spruce top, 2 useful TP heights adjacent; ht 497 on 1995 Landranger 137. roughish tk, park @ 206874 (short fp), break thru 10m of trees then clearish gap in spruce to summit | RHW | 11/05/2002 |
