Logged Descriptions  (logged by 13 users)ByDate of Ascent
Approached from free dam carpark an then across dam wall (publicly accessible). Traversed upwards and SW to col on narrow sheep path, then across sheep pasture to unmarked summit. Drizzly day but views E into gorge during ascent impressive. The drive N along the East side of the reservoir is also spectacular.Denise 11/06/2021
Take the bridge over the top of the spillway and across the dam then straight up to gain excellent animal track making a rising traverse S/SW of the steep hillside with views down on the tumbling R Towy. Extensive hill top plateau has fields of cultivated sheep pasture and un-marked summit in rough pasture. Fine views, clouds clearing after a day of light rain.RichardM11/06/2021
From the car park for the dam at 79365 48448, over the dam, round the lake to the first obvious way up. After a short pathless climb you emerge and can find the fence heading in the right bearing. You leave the fence for a while to cross a dip but otherwise it goes close to the top.clivevilla02/01/2019
