dullish hill & view, deepish heather. parking to N, track +/- to summit RHW07/03/2004
Walked along the main ridge north from Teesdale. Mainly untrodden moorland with frequent boggy tracts. After Islington hill the snow started and it blizzarded horizontally across me so I made a beeline for the road intending to follow it back. As I sheltered behind a road sign a van driver took pity on me, stopped and gave me a lift back!moorsman09/09/1999
