Followed the path along the side of Coledale Beck before climbing to this for a coffee break, this way it felt like a proper summit.JohnStoneham04/02/2018
Force Crag Mine track from car park then Coledale path. The short climb from the path to summit took ages due to calf - knee high snow. Reaching the diminutive summit seemed a real achievement today!DC11main20/01/2018
From Outerside. Had a look over the edge. On to Ladyside Pike.Wycombe Wanderer25/06/2017
Roadside parking on bend of B5292 at 228236 (Space for 8-10 cars) – RoW up Coledale, much of it along the Force Crag Mine track – From due south, a short climb to the fairly obvious summit as identified by ALHEJ Wilkins & signyred. Continued to Crag Hill & Eel Crag. (S)gerrybowes14/06/2017

Easy, 1 mile (total) out and back detour from Coledale Hause on route from Grisedale Pike to Eel Crags. Summit appears to be a small but pronounced grassy mound at NY 19595 21328ALHEJ Wilkins18/06/2016

From Braithwaite long slog up onto Grisedale Pike over to Hopegill Head, down over Sand Hill to Coledale Hause, Force Crag, past the mine back to Braithwaite, Sunny with warm spells, a cool breeze in places, cloud & rain later.apricorum09/04/2016
Still not sure why this minor bump is worthy of a top status. For what it's worth the highest point is at NY 19592 21328signyred09/04/2016

Impressive crag face when traveling from the east. A short detour off the main track though there is a short cut which can be followed after crossing one of the streams. Shorter but steeper.moorsman15/05/2014
Needs to be approached from the E for the majesty of this little hill to be appreciated. We passed over it on the way down from Coledale Hause after having done Grisedale Pike and it was a mere bump to the side of the path - nothing more.jonglew01/04/2014
With Jo, out and back walk from Braithwaite along the mine road to Force Crag. Weather; sunny, cool breeze, very good visibility. Very interesting old mine buildings in vicinity.amblerbob29/03/2012

Had visited Force Crag Mine down below on many occasions as I knew Lindsay, Mick and Pete who were trying to make a go of it as the New Coledale Mining Co. Fall in the price of zinc and serious roof collapse c.1991-2 finally sealed its fate as the last working metal mine in the Lake District, and has been taken over by the National Trust.Aye Jimmy20/04/1990
