Followed the path along the side of Coledale Beck before climbing to this for a coffee break, this way it felt like a proper summit.JohnStoneham04/02/2018
Force Crag Mine track from car park then Coledale path. The short climb from the path to summit took ages due to calf - knee high snow. Reaching the diminutive summit seemed a real achievement today!DC11main20/01/2018

Still not sure why this minor bump is worthy of a top status. For what it's worth the highest point is at NY 19592 21328signyred09/04/2016

Impressive crag face when traveling from the east. A short detour off the main track though there is a short cut which can be followed after crossing one of the streams. Shorter but steeper.moorsman15/05/2014
Needs to be approached from the E for the majesty of this little hill to be appreciated. We passed over it on the way down from Coledale Hause after having done Grisedale Pike and it was a mere bump to the side of the path - nothing more. ***Revisited 7 Sep 2019 with Andrew Brown on his Waiwright completion; approached from the E and what a fine hill it looks from that direction.jonglew01/04/2014

Had visited Force Crag Mine on many occasions as I knew Lindsay, Mick and Pete who were trying to make a go of it as the New Coledale Mining Co. Fall in price of zinc and serious roof collapse c.1991-2 finally sealed its fate as the last working metal mine in the Lake District. Taken over by National Trust.Aye Jimmy20/04/1990
