First fell on excellent horseshoe walk up Robinson and down Hindscarth from car park by bridge nr Newlands church. Lovely, mainly grass, ridge walk up from intake wall just south of Low High Snab. Seems ridiculous that the north ridge of Hindscarth has 3 Birketts whereas the north ridge of Robinson has none. Well done Tim Synge for giving this fell its well deserved recognition on a fell list.Hillsidenick24/05/2017

An absolutely fantastic round with superb ridges, tops, scrambles, ridge walking galore, great views all round, could see the see (blighted with wind turbines), had a bit of a cloud come through on Hindscarth but apart from that great walking weather. Went up the Hindscarth ridge from the Newlands Chapel, round onto Robinson and down the ridge from there back to the Chapel. Will definately do that route again sometime. Set off at 10 and down by 2.30Mark T01/02/2017

Newlands Horseshoe clockwise from Chapel Bridge at Little Town with Jim, Jus & Cat. Didn't know this was a summit at the time! Reached after a couple of fun little bum-shuffling scrambles coming down from Robinson. The diagonal green public footpath off the east side of the ridge shown on the OS Explorer maps doesn't seem to exist in reality. Instead followed the black dotted path along the summit before turning sharply downhill near the first fenceline to reach the track along Scope Beck close to High Snab.wheresthepath24/09/2016

An easy walk along the road picking up an uphill path a short distance after the house. Good tracks all the way.moorsman09/05/2015
