2/6 Birthday walk - Up to Yoke (revisit) via Dubs Reservoir, then down to Rainsborrow Crag and drop down contouring round to Castle Crag, Piked Hawes, Rowantree Knotts and Scale Knotts. Interesting picking route over all of those. Back over Garburn Pass. Five nice Synges but a bit late for birthday tea - oops .nickywood103/09/2021
Eastern Fells. Not in JWS List. Climbed incidentally at some unrecorded date later than the first ascent of the Ill Bell ridge, including up the beck with SCS in the snow.Peterdunscar17/05/2021

There is parking for 2 cars at the end of Hollin Lane. Rather than take the trudge up Garburn Pass to gain the ridge there are delightful tracks which take you past Piked Howes and Castle Crag.DC11main15/09/2018
