Used Walkhighlands route Stob Coire Creagach from Butterbridge for ascent then cut down open hillside between Binnein Fhidhleir and Creage Bhrosgan. Needed careful navigation to pick a route down as the streams were cut deep into the hillsidehummusg13/12/2023
From Butterbridge up the south ridge voie normale, making thirsty work even thirstier by losing most of the contents of my water bottle after it fell from a rucksack pocket crossing the stile. A tiny spring in the band of crags below the summit replenished it. A panorama ridge walk, with diversions to the west and far west tops and Creag Bhrosgan, before reaching Binnein an Fhidleir. I descended by the steep grassy gully just east of the summit, but it would have been better to retrace the ascent, avoiding a long steep descent, two deer fences and dense vegetation concealing stump holes as well as the walk back near the A83.Nick Down102/09/2023
CP to south. Path up east side fence - steep and very distinct thru bracken belt, less so on open hill but intermittent all way up. Path/trod on to trig. Along old track/trod to west side of ridge NE (bi-passes s5 Stoban Dubha, turning NNE here). Down to track and onto trig Maol Meadhonach. retraced steps to track and long walk out on Glen Kinglass to carcarole engel28/07/2023
Followed the WH route straight up and down from Butterbridge. Quite the calf burner, and chose the hottest day of the year so far to do it on. Stunning views of all of the southern Highlands, and my 600th Marilyn!Rockdoctor29/05/2023
Parking at Butterbridge. Through gate to track up Glen Kinglas and then almost immediately through 2nd gate on left. Follow fence line to start with and move right towards stile. Obvious track most of the way picking the easiest way through a series of crags. Relentless! You come out virtually on the top. We continued to Binnien an Fhidhlier before reversing back towards Stob Coire Creagach. We continued on knobbly ridge before descending easy grassy gully above new new building on Glen Kinglas track. Walked back along track to parking.sarahk26/02/2023
From Butterbridge car park with JD. Up feint track from Glen Kinglas track through trees to stile and grassy gully through crag. Pleasant but steep to top. Decent to west and down to Butterbridge.John Lee25/02/2023
From car park near old bridge. Up Glen Kinglass a short way to gate then steeply start up to summit. Walk along to trig point.N.Morters19/11/2022
Parked by the bend in the busy road (13:00) and took faint path through gate, steeply upward through woodland and over stile. Path continued up a gully above but was indistinct on the steepish grassy slopes beyond. Very tired after Beinn an Lochain so progress slow. Warm and dry with good views and very pleasant on top. Got slightly lost on way down but was able to find the mark I'd made at the top of the gully. Finally finished 16:55dbb17/08/2022
Large digger working at Butterbridge car park, but still room for 4 cars. Up the SE ridge to great summit views. Followed the NE ridge, dropped down opposite Abyssinia and returned along the Glen Kinglas track.Alan20/04/2022

Steep and soggy ascent but a cracking hill on a good day, I’m sure. No views from top and short on time so just did main summit. Cleared while I descended. 3hr20niallp03/08/2020
A boggy then snowy ascent up Coire Creagach to the East Top, then on to Stob Coire Creagach, Binnein an Fhidhleir and back down the main route. A brilliant viewpoint and fun ridge walk in the snow.Chris Mac19/01/2020

Quite a pull up from Glen Kinglas. But a gorgeous morning so well worth the sweat and swearing.summitter12/11/2017
Parked at Butterbridge, into plantation, then on to open hillside via stile. Ascended a grassy rake, then weaved between the crags to the summit, where there is a cracking view. With JT.Sprog24/07/2017
A drizzly misty start, turning to clear views but heavy rain. The walk along Glen Kinglas and along the ridge is very good, except for the first few hundred feet onto the ridge, which is horrible tussocks. It's soon over, then grass and an ATV track speed you on your way. There's a very nice rocky/grassy ridge with steep bits when you get close to the summit and the views are brilliant.Gill05/06/2017
