Good path down the ridge on Meall Mor, through gate in deer fence to join forest road. Road up to mast. Across felled trees to higher of the two tops. Descended on a good path to quarry at Ballachulish. With Jill. A rpt for me.Dangerous Dave23/08/2023

From Meall Mor. New deer fence with gate at 095564. Forest between here and summit entirely felled, but going is good. Path directly down to Ballachulish from behind transmitter. KeithByTheC26/06/2023

OMC Christmas Meet at the cottage, Tom Lockie drove to Gelncoe Visitor Centre, with June Beattie and I. Followed forestry tracks up to the saddle between Am Meall and Meall Mor, Tom and I headed over for Am Meall. Fantastic views west down Loch Leven to Ballachulish Bridge and Ardgour hills. Tom continued onto Meall Mor, I headed back to the visitor centre, June caught up with me and we sat in the cafe 1:30hrs until Tom came back.chillyman810/12/2022
Biked up to the col from the visitor centre, visited both tops.robertphillips25/06/2022
From the Glencoe Visitor Centre. Winding forestry track probably tripling the distance to the top as opposed to straightline. My 5000th Tump on what would have been my Dads 100th birthday.Campbell Singer13/05/2022

From lay-by 300 yards SE of NTS visitor centre Up zig-zags, visited Am Meall's two tops, then taking the obliging path leading to a gate in the deer fence, the West Top of Meall Mor and, along the banana ridge, its summit. I cut down from the end of the ridge to rejoin the zig-zags.Nick Down102/04/2022

Along the Gleann an Fhiodh path until a couple of hundred metres shy of the cairn. Found an easy spot to cross the burn and relatively easy route through the opposite heathery slope to the fine ridge path SW of Sgorr a' Choise. A nicely pinnacled summit lunch then down to Meall a' Bhuige and up to Meall Mor. Superb views across the Glen Coe classics from this point. Around the banana ridge, through a gate to recently felled forestry, then up a rough 4x4 track to the Am Meall. We met a London-based actor at the top of his first ever hill. He was stunned by the beauty but unsure how to get down, so took him down the path to the Ballachulish slate quarry and a well earned pint.summitter07/05/2021
From Meall Mor on grahams circuit. Back by rough footpath downhill to east side of quarry. The mast area seemed slightly higher than deforested area. Great views of Bidean and Aonach Eagach.willyross19/03/2021

Lovely winding ascent from the Glencoe Visitor Centre car park. Sparkling weather with great views. Was up to try and find the OS bolt near the summit. See http://trigpointing.uk/trig/8011.BigJ23/12/2020

With: hb; From Ballachulish, we walked past the primary school up Gleann an Fhiodh on a very good path to the prominent cairn. We crossed the River Laroch with some difficulty after all the recent rain, then gained the lovely south west ridge of Sgorr a'Choise which we followed to top. This ridge has losts of quartzite outcrops. Good views from the summit to the south. We descended over Meall a'Bhuige to the bealach then straight up the south west ridge of Meall Mor. There were more good views into Glencoe. We followed the ridge roud to the north west then descended to the new gate in the deer fence before picking a muddy route up to Am Meall. The descent north west back to the quarries through late flowering bluebells was delightful.Ian Baines03/06/2019
With: ib; From Ballachulish, walked past school up Gleann an Fhiodh to cairn, crossed R Laroch with difficulty then gained lovely SW ridge of S a'Choise & followed to top. Good views. Descent to col & up Meall Mor. Good views up Glencoe. Down Am Meall. Helen Baines03/06/2019
On my own. Heavy showers. From TIC in Ballachulish. Up side of plantation. On way to Meall Mor.alwaysinshorts03/03/2019

From Ballachulish. Free parking at the Co-op. I thought the hill by the mast was the summit and came up here on the way up to Meall Mor. As I looked back, the other top of felled forest looked higher. I bagged it on the way back down!Dangerous Dave26/08/2018

Train to Tyndrum Lower, bus to Glencoe visitor centre. Up newish forestry road towards bealach between Am Meall and Meall Mòr — long and tortuous, but smooth and easily graded, ideal for the elderly walker (or this one at least). Rightwards just before col on to rougher track up to communications mast, then back and across a hundred metres of forestry débris to summit. Cloudy with some sunny intervals and one or two showers. Views up Glencoe and down Loch Leven, hills including Beinn a’ Bheithir and glimpses of the Mamores. Back down to visitor centre, then road to Ballachulish for bus to Oban.mainnirnamfiadh08/08/2018

Overcast, warm for time of year. Took track on right at entrance to quarry which leads to a gate. Took path up grassy hillside before gate. Steep but straightforward to summit.Wycombe Wanderer02/01/2017
