Parked at free Morvich car park. Long walk in up good track/path . Sheltered in windshelter for lunch in swirling cloud after ascent of west top. Retraced steps to main valley-Glenn Choinneachain path and bealach before ascent of a Ghlas Bheinn in snow squall. With Richard and Gillian Walker.Denise 23/04/2023
Parked at the NTS Morvich car park. Good path up the valley into Coire an Sgairne and up onto the Beinn Fhada plateau. Went to the western end at Meall an Fhuarain Mhoir and main top before returning to the valley and climbing to Bealach an Sgairne. Good path again up A' Ghlas bheinn, including its South top. Descended via the west ridge, turning WNW to reach the bridge where the Falls of Glomach path enters the wood and then SW through woods and footbridge back. Mainly in cloud with some snow flurries. Views on Fhada for lunch. With Gillian and Denise.richard6923/04/2023
from glen affric hostel, headed up east ridge. Initially boggy, then step and pathless. But ridge more defined at about 600m and good path emerged, the excellent long ridge walk to summit. Cloud high enough to afford spectacular views. Descent via NE ridge to main path, then back to hostel. Crossed river by the bridge, the 3 hour slog back to Cluanie Innwychwood19/09/2022

From Morvich via Gleann Choinneachain. Snow above approx 500m. Summit clear all daygeoffh1210/04/2022
With John from Morvich NTS car park. An early start and firm bit not icy conditions down low made for good progress on the walk-in through Gleann Choinneachain, with a solo feral goat making an appearance just over half way along that path. Above 350m (the river crossing before the ascent to the bealach) the path was laced with sections of thick ice (frozen snow melt mostly) which slowed us down, with the snow line starting about 600m elevation (coire an sgairne). Crampons stayed in the bags, but ice axes required for a few short icy sections up from Coire an Sgairne to the top of the ridge. Sky was blue with high clouds, and clarity was excellent, resulting in some incredible views across to snow-capped mountains in every direction. Due to the icy snow, we decided to save the Sgùrr a Choire Ghairbh ridge for another day, so returned back down the way we came and another quick walk back to Morvich through Gleann Choinneachain. Total time 6h 16min.mproudfoot27/12/2021

Debs & Tali. Bienn Fhada (Revisit) and west along the ridge. Only obstacle was the 15-20 m easy scramble up, Tali just needed a little assist. (harness and a 2 metre lead did the trick)Mountain Goat07/05/2019
